Who is Kelli McGovern Nelson and what are her qualifications?

I first got licensed in Real Estate in 2014, when I was 25 years old. It was a very different market then! I was just Kelli McGovern in those days, but being a KC Realtor has shaped who I am regardless of the name on my badge. I am a licensed Realtor in both Kansas and Missouri.

I have served as the 2022 KCRAR Events and Member Outreach Chair,
2021 & 2020 KCRAR Events and Member Outreach Vice Chair, 2019 KCRAR YPN Chair, and as the 2018 KCRAR YPN Vice Chair within the Kansas City Regional Association of Realtors, as well as being an Advisory Board Member and being elected to serve as a Director for Missouri Realtors.

I got married in 2024, and changed my name to Kelli Nelson, but the commitment to being a great real estate agent remains unchanged. Speaking of commitment- my husband’s name is Bret, and he is in Oncology Testing sales. We have 2 pets: a Golden Retriever named Kobe, and a little black cat named Jellybean. They both make guest appearances on our annual Christmas Card.
